Terms Of Service
The ground rules for purchasing from hulmeband.com and using the Hume Health app โ written to be understood, not just clicked through.
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms apply to hulmeband.com and the Hume Health mobile app (together, the "Services"), both operated by Hume Health Corp. Placing an order, creating an account, or using the Services in any capacity means you accept what's written here.
1. Who Can Purchase
You must be 18 or older โ or the legal adult age in your territory โ to purchase through hulmeband.com or create a Hume Health account. The Hulme Band is not designed for children, and collecting data from anyone under 13 is not something we do intentionally.
2. How Orders Work
Submitting an order through hulmeband.com is your offer to purchase a Hulme Band (and any optional add-ons) at the price shown at checkout, VAT included. We may decline an order in limited circumstances โ suspected fraud, a pricing error, or a stock shortage โ in which case a full refund is issued automatically.
All prices are displayed in GBP including VAT unless otherwise stated. Prices may change without advance notice, but never retroactively for an order already confirmed.
3. Delivery And Returns
Full details on UK delivery timelines and how to return a Hulme Band are on our Refund & Returns page, which forms part of these Terms. UK customers also retain any statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in addition to our voluntary guarantee.
4. What The Hulme Band Is โ And Is Not
The Hulme Band is a consumer wellness product designed to provide insight into everyday health patterns. It is not a medical device under any regulatory definition, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Every figure it produces โ biological age, metabolic momentum, illness indicators โ comes from sensor data processed through proprietary algorithms and should be treated as an estimate, not a clinical measurement.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any medical decision. If something feels seriously wrong, seek help immediately rather than relying on what the app shows.
5. Your Account Security
Everything that happens under your Hume Health login is your responsibility. Keep your credentials secure. Contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
6. Prohibited Uses
Reverse-engineering the Hulme Band's hardware or software in ways that breach applicable law is not permitted. Using the Services to infringe on others' rights, or attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems, is equally prohibited.
7. Intellectual Property
"Hulme Band," "Hulme Band Official Website," "Hume Band," "Hume Health," and all associated branding belong to Hume Health Corp. The hardware design, the app, and all content on hulmeband.com are protected by copyright โ nothing may be reproduced without written permission.
8. Liability Limits
Beyond the concrete warranty described in our Refund & Returns policy, the Services carry no additional warranties to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer. Hume Health Corp is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the product or Services.
9. When These Terms Are Updated
These Terms are revised from time to time, with each change reflected in a new "Last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the Services after a revision takes effect means accepting the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
